RG6 Coaxial cable – F type

Hi-Resolution RG6 F-Type cable (RG is the military designation for coaxial cable) are constructed with 75 Ohm coaxial cable that delivers high-quality video images. RG59 versus RG6:
-Both RG6 and RG59 cables being 75 Ohm, difference is the gauge of the copper center, as well as the quality. RG59 is 22 AWG and RG6 is 18 AWG (American wire gauge)
-RG6 is a solid copper core where as RG59 is braided copper wire.
-RG6 is much better insulated as well using an aluminum foil sheath rather than a braided copper shield that RG59 uses.
-RG6 is Plenum rated cable which means it can be used in applications inside a wall (plenum rated materials will not produce toxic gas upon burning).
